Reading of Christmas classic planned
Volunteer readers are needed for the third annual community reading of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. The first practice will be held 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. The performance will not be the play, but a community reading of the story as written by Charles Dickens in 1843. The book, in its entirety, will be read to the public the second week in December.
