CREST introduces new Buddy Program

Caregivers are awesome, but also need time to take care of their own health. That’s where CREST will come in with their new Buddy Program providing in-home short-term respite care. A specially trained volunteer Buddy will stay with the care partner for a morning, afternoon or evening as they chat, play a game, watch TV, or just hang out together. Plans are created by the caregiver and Buddy to meet the needs of the care partner. Buddy’s do not provide personal care such as medications, lifting the individual, or personal hygiene. There is no charge for this service, but donations are always welcome. Contact CREST at (507) 235-3833 for more information and to get the

registration process underway.
