Driver fails to stop for stop sign — Kristin C. St. John, 55, of Fairmont; fined $135.

Kyle A. Cather, 27, of Fairmont was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $323.64, restitution $138.64, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one unsupervised probation, remain law-abiding, don’t enter the Fairmont Walmart for the term of probation, pay restitution.

Ricky L. Johnson, 62, of Winnebago was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $85, sentenced to jail 364 days, stayed 364 days for two years, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, don’t drive without a valid drivers license, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives.

Mason R. Tow, 23, of Fairmont was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, complete and pay for comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, attend MADD impact panel, if comprehensive assessment recommends to abstain from alcohol and mood-altering substances, abstain from the use and possession of all alcohol and mood-altering substances unless prescribed by a licensed medical provider, random testing at the request of law enforcement. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, and operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, were both dismissed.
