5:48 p.m. — A two vehicle accident at Highway 169 and Interstate 90, Blue Earth, Faribault County, resulted in non-life threatening injuries to the persons who were involved.

According to the State Patrol:

A 2015 Ford Fusion driven by Sharol Diane Vincent, age 76, of Albert Lea, Minn., was westbound Interstate 90 and a 2000 Dodge Durango driven by Makayla Anne Hernandez, age 20, of Blue Earth, and passengers Heather Anne Hernandez, age 51, of Winnebago, Minn. and Jaryd Michael Johnson, age 23, of Blue Earth was northbound on Highway 169 when the vehicles made contact at the intersection. Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, Blue Earth Police Department, Blue Earth Fire and UHD Ambulance assisted on the scene. All persons were wearing their seat belts except the 2nd passenger of the Dodge Durango, Jaryd Johnson. All persons in the accident were transported to Blue Earth Hospital in Blue Earth with believed non-life-threatening injuries. Alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
