Seeking supervisor for Martin Soil and Water Conservation District

To the Editor:

After 12 years serving as Martin Soil and Water Conservation District 3 Supervisor, I will not be filing for the coming four-year term. I’m asking anyone who lives in District 3 which includes the townships of Tenhassen, Silver Lake, East Chain, Pleasant Prairie and Fairmont (but not the city of Fairmont) who has an interest in conservation, the environment and agriculture to become a supervisor. The district serves landowners who wish to efficiently utilize soil and water resources in our county. Filing for this position opens May 21 and closes June 4.
