Farmers Market in Trimont to start summer season Trimont Farmer's Market will begin its summer season from 2:30-5:30 p.m. this Friday, May 31, at Anderson Park in Trimont, and will continue each week on Fridays through September. There will be a variety of vendors and coffee and goodies will be available for a free will donation as usual. Martin Luther to host golf benefit Golfers are invited to register for the Play It Again golf benefit sponsored by Martin Luther High School of Northrop that will be held Saturday, June 15, at Interlaken Golf Club, Fairmont. Rain date will be June 16. The event is a two-person best-ball tournament with registration beginning 12:15 p.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. $100 cold cash give-away and prizes will be awarded after the meal. Paddle Friends to launch tonight Those involved in the paddling friends group will meet 6 p.m. tonight, May 28, at the dock area on Lake Aires Road on the south end of Fairmont. The group will launch into Amber Lake and will try their tradition of going through the culvert to Mud and Bardwell Lakes.
