Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast and an informative talk Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Dr. Andy Maier from the Center for Specialty Care in Fairmont. Breakfast starts at 6:30 a.m., with the meeting getting underway at 6:50 a.m. The public is invited. Join them for breakfast and an informative talk from Dr. Maier.

Free public event Thursday in Fairmont

Center for the American Experiment is coming to Fairmont. This free public meeting for anyone involved with our youth will begin 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 920 E. 10th St. in Fairmont. The topic will be “False Promises-How Progressive Policies Betray Minnesota Youth.” The event is sponsored by the American Experiment and the Martin County Republican Party of Minnesota.
