Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet for breakfast and an informative talk Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Celia Simpson of Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA), who will talk about Faribault and Martin Counties Tour of Manufacturing. Breakfast starts at 6:30 a.m., with the meeting getting underway at 6:50 a.m. The public is invited. Join them for breakfast and an informative talk from Celia.

Disney Trivia at the Fairmont Brewery

The Martin County Library will host a Disney-themed trivia event beginning 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Fairmont Brewing Company, 414 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Trivia participants may contend alone or select another person to compete in pairs. The event is free of charge and pre-registration is not required. Martin County to hold Saturday bake sale

Martin County Humane Society will hold a fall bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Fleet and Farm Ace Hardware store located at 1300 N. State St. in Fairmont.
