WATERVILLE — Tuesday’s second Section 2AA elimination baseball game — between the Blue Earth Area Bucs and the winner between the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants and the Belle Plaine Tigers — was postponed to tonight at 6 p.m. in Waterville due to inclement weather.

Tuesday’s first elimination game between LSH and Belle Plaine was suspended in the middle innings, and will resume at that juncture at 5 p.m. today in Waterville.

The eventual survivor among the three baseball teams advances to play the St. Peter Saints at 5 p.m. Thursday in Waterville for the sectional championship and a bid to the Class AA state tournament.

If the Blue Earth Area–Le Sueur-Henderson–Belle Plaine winner defeats St. Peter in Game 1 on Thursday, a decisive second contest would be played 30 minutes after the completion of the opener.
