Tuesday coffee hours for April will have one more session from 8:30-10 a.m. on April 30, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life facility in Trimont. Join friends and neighbors for coffee, goodies and great fellowship. Tuesday coffee hours for the month of May will be held 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesdays at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome.

Welcome Clean Up Day is set for 8-10 a.m. (or when the truck is full) on May 11. Bring items by the fire hall on Campbell Street. Appliances are okay this spring only. This is for Welcome residents only. Be prepared to show proof of residency. This is a good opportunity to clear out the items that are prohibited by ordinances for free. There will be an open house informational meeting from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 29, at Martin County West High School in Sherburn. This meeting is regarding the school building referendum election which is May 14.

St. John’s Lutheran Church is sponsoring a bus trip to Kentucky and points of interest in Iowa for August 2024. The deadline to sign up is July 15.
