U11 girls soccer takes win

FAIRMONT — The Becker Storage of Fairmont U11 girls soccer team beat Chaska, 4-1, on Tuesday.

Elayna Anderson netted a hat trick in the win with Andrea Rojo suppyling the other goal. Kennedy Becker, Addison Armstrong and Sydney Blomster assisted on each of Anderson’s goals.

Ellie Plumhoff scored Fairmont’s lone goal with an assist from Anderson in the 3-1 loss to Edina during U11 girls soccer action on June 8.

U13 Girls Soccer

Bloomington 4, Associate Optometry of Fairmont 1 — Anna Utermarck scored Fairmont’s lone goal on May 25.

New Prague 1, Associate Optometry of Fairmont 0 — Anna Utermarck and Kate Busche combined for 24 saves in the shutout loss on June 1. Utermarck had 17 saves in the first half, while Busche had seven in the second half.

Associate Optometry of Fairmont 1, Shakopee 1 — Emma Scheppmann provided Fairmont with its only goal on June 8. Kate Busche had two saves and Anna Utermarck made eight stops in the tie.

Burnsville 6, Associate Optometry of Fairmont 0 — Kate Busche made 11 saves and Taylor Spencer recorded five saves as the two shared Fairmont’s goaltending duties on Sunday.

U16 Girls Soccer

Commodity Services Inc of Fairmont 5, Hutchinson 2 — Emma Schultze netted two goals in Fairmont’s win on June 10. Lexi Kauffman, Maddie Maakestad and Kaylene Lindquist chipped in a goal apiece. Kauffman also dished out an assist and Anna DeWitt finished with two assists.

Kaiden Boehner stopped six Hutchinson shots in the win.

Commodity Services Inc of Fairmont 4, Marshall 0 — Kaiden Boehner made two saves in the shutout win on Wednesday. Lexi Kauffman provided two goals to the winning effort. Isabella Lenort scored and assisted on a score, while Emma Schultze netted a goal.

Anna DeWitt doled out an assist.

U18 Girls Soccer

St. Peter 5, A1 Concrete & Grinding of Fairmont 0 — Taylor Eicholz made 18 saves for Fairmont on June 8.

Shakopee 2, A1 Concrete & Grinding of Fairmont 2 — Claudia Bleese scored both goals for Fairmont, both of which were assisted by Brooke Hunwardsen on Tuesday.

Taylor Eicholz handled goaltending dutied and pocketed 11 saves.

U12 Boys Soccer

Bank Midwest of Fairmont 2, Lakes United Farrell 0 — Matthew Kotewa scored both of Fairmont’s goals during the North Branch Tournament on June 3. Alex Cruz assisted on one of the goals.

Dillon Puim and Wyatt Luhmann combined goaltending forces to record five and seven saves, respectively.

Lakes United Detzler 5, Bank Midwest of Fairmont 1 — Adrian Sanchez provided Fairmont with its only score during the North Branch Tournament on June 3.

Dillon Pluim stopped two shots and Wyatt Luhmann had five saves.

Bank Midwest of Fairmont 7, Sibley Urban Stars 1 — Matthew Kotewa erupted for four goals in Fairmont’s win during the North Branch Tournament on June 3.

Dillon Pluim and Wyatt Luhmann combined equally for two saves.

Marshall 8, Bank Midwest of Fairmont 2 — Matthew Kotewa and Carson Pomerenke both scored onces for Fairmont on June 7.

Wyatt Luhmman had six saves between the pipes, while Dillon Pluim had three.

U11 Boys Soccer

Albert Lea 7, Rosen’s Diversified of Fairmont 2 — Preston Rogge contributed a goal scored to Fairmont’s effort on Wednesday. Jorvik Jensen made seven saves and Ethan Madsen had five.

U18 Boys Soccer

New Ulm 4, Bolton & Menk Inc. of Fairmont 3 — Kaleb Hoye scored and assisted on a goal in the loss on June 8.

Abram Sanchez and Noah Becker provided a goal apiece. Jacob Mitchell assisted on a goal.

Malachi Anderson rejected 15 New Ulm shots.

St. Peter 3, Bolton & Menk Inc. of Fairmont 2 — Thomas Havnen and Joseph Gerken both scored a goal for Fairmont in June 9. Malachi Anderson totaled eight saves.

Worthington 3, Bolton & Menk Inc. of Fairmont 2 — Kaleb Hoye and Noah Becker provided goals to Fairmont on Tuesday. Thomas Havnen assisted on a score.

Leyton Becker stopped 22 shots between the pipes.
