East Chain sow barn fire To the Editor: A fire has devastated one of Hugoson Pork’s sow farms near East Chain, Minn. The Hugoson family is grateful there have been no reported injuries to staff or emergency responders. The majority of the site is considered a total loss. The fire is believed to have started around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning. More than 10 area fire departments responded from local communities. Hope to emulate your integrity To the Editor: It can be easy to opine that the country is going to crap. Political venom comes at us from every angle. Violence and lack of respect for each other creates many talking points. I believe I left my wallet at a HyVee self check-out. Probably never know for sure. The individual who brought it to the nice folks at customer service chose to remain anonymous.
