East Chain sow barn fire
To the Editor:
A fire has devastated one of Hugoson Pork’s sow farms near East Chain, Minn.
The Hugoson family is grateful there have been no reported injuries to staff or emergency responders. The majority of the site is considered a total loss.
The fire is believed to have started around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning. More than 10 area fire departments responded from local communities. The Hugoson family is appreciative of the fire departments that responded and grateful for the support of their community. Along with their employees, the Hugoson family would like to thank those who have helped respond to this devastating situation.
