Backing Bjorn Olson To the Editor: I have not been this excited to exercise my constitutional right to vote in many years. When Bjorn Olson threw his hat in the ring last January, I realized there could not be a better candidate to serve Minnesota House District 23A than Bjorn. Cyphers is a treasure To the Editor: The purpose of this letter is to make sure the citizens in Ward 2 in Fairmont understand what a treasured prize you have in Ruth Cyphers as your current City Council representative. A war between good, evil To the Editor: We are in a war of good versus evil. I can only hope that you are on the side of good. Some would choose to kill little babies as late as their birth day. Re-elect Hawkins To the Editor: I am writing to show my support and encourage fellow citizens to re-elect Tom Hawkins for Fairmont City Council, councilman at large. I think it’s important we have someone who understands business representing our city. The population of Fairmont has been declining for decades and unless we are proactive on growing our city, we will keep declining and hurting our tax base. Hawkins was helpful To the Editor: Fairmont voters: I would like to tell you about my dealings with Fairmont Councilman Tom Hawkins. I purchased a building in city limits with the intentions of relocating my business there. Unknown to me, the building was not in the correct zone for my business. I had to go through the process of rezoning this property. After my first initial attempt with the zoning department, I was told that was not an option.
