Driving without a valid license for vehicle class or type — Matthew F. Beck, 32, of Buffalo Center, Iowa; Maria J. Dotseth, 44, of Elmore; each fined $185.

Failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle — Tyler D. Stedman, 29, of Sanborn; fined $285.

Deer hunting-may not hunt with aid or use of bait — Matthew A. Kluender, 35, of Bricelyn; fined $385.

Daniel J. Weber, 37, of Frost was convicted of domestic abuse-violate Order for Protection; fined $360, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, no contact with victim(s), Domestic No Contact (DANCO) for one year, enroll in domestic abuse program within 90 days and successfully complete program, can offset out-of-pocket expenses against fine, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Also convicted on another charge of domestic abuse-violate Order for Protection; sentenced to jail two days, credit for time served two days. Additional felony charge of terroristic threats-reckless disregard risk and a misdemeanor charge of domestic abuse-violate Order for Protection, were both dismissed.

April B. Lind, 37, of Fairmont had a charge of reckless driving-drives consciously disregarding a substantial or unjustifiable risk continued for dismissal; fined $260, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar. Additional charge of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle was dismissed.

Jorge Torres Jr., 43, of Blue Earth was convicted of fourth-degree burglary (aid and abet); fined $360, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 358 days for two years, credit for time served seven days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service 16 hours for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law.

Nicole M. Pederson, 22, of Rochester was convicted of possess over 1.4 grams of marijuana in motor vehicle; fined $305. Also convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $200. Also convicted of speeding; fined $70. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited; fined $50.
