Local Soccer Scores: May 30 to June 4
Competitive soccer in the Fairmont Soccer Association continued to rack up results this summer. Here are all the scores and stats from May 30 to June 4.
May 30
LX United 12U got the best of Slumberland U12G White in Holman, WI. Lainee Matheson had six saves, while Brookelyn Izen had three.
Seifried Portrait Design U18 Boys barely lost to Rochester on the road, 3-2. Brody Deuel had five stoppages at the net. Nathan Paris scored off a dish from Marco Chavez. Xavier Garcia scored the other goal unassisted.
June 1
Rochester took down Day Plumbing U15 Boys in Rochester, 5-2. Dawson O’Brien scored while also assisting a goal for Carter Simmering. Chase Haugen had seven saves. Cooper Wiederhoeft had six.
Bolton & Menk, Inc. U17/18 drew with New Ulm 2-2 at New Ulm. Addysen Urban scored on a pass from Mataya Weber, while Grace Kotewa got one through the net unassisted. Alyssa Lowrey led the team with 11 saves. Kotewa had nine.
June 2
Tri-City United handled K-9 Klips U15 Girls, 4-0, at Jeffery Kot Fields. Megan Hector had three stoppages at goalie.
Seifried Portrait Design U18 Boys took down New Ulm at Jeffery Kot Fields 3-2. Dammon Castillo, Nathan Paris and Xavier Garcia all scored unassisted. Brody Deuel had seven saves to fuel the win.
June 3
Rochester beat Slumberland U12G White 7-0. Brookelyn Izen had an impressive 22 saves.
June 4
Mankato scored 10 goals to Saxton Farms U11/12G Red’s 1 at Jeffery Kot Fields. Annie Klunder scored the lone goal from an Emily Frost assist. Dakota Abel and Sophia Reyes each had double-digit saves, recording 15 and 10, respectively.
The Hefty Seed Company U12 Boys couldn’t get going against Owatonna, losing 11-1. Paxton Soelter scored and Rab Hobbs had 18 saves.
