Camila M. Espinoza Fernandez, 19, of Davenport, Iowa; fined $145.
Juan J. Perez, 21, of Mankato was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $200. Also convicted of speeding; fined $125.
Oscar M. Rodriguez Zaragoza, 47, of Blue Earth was convicted of speeding; fined $145. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100. Additional charge of expired proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.
Steven W. Burns, 32, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,185, sentenced to jail 30 days, can do work release if eligible, eligible for Huber work release and/or STS if granted, five years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment and abide by all recommendations for care and aftercare, may credit $500 from fine for receiving GED, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, contact probation officer as directed, complete a psychological evaluation if directed by agent and abide by recommendations, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote or vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. One additional felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession in school, park or public housing zone, and additional misdemeanor charges of possess/sale small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited, were all dismissed.
Tyler A. Caputo, 28, of Mapleton was convicted on a felony charge of first-degree controlled substance possession-50 grams or more; fined $160, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 90 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Additional felony charges of first-degree controlled substance possession-25 grams or more and firearm, first-degree aggravated controlled substance crime and firearm, first-degree controlled substance sales-10 grams or more and firearm, felon convicted of crime of violence-firearm violation, and firearms-receive or possess with altered serial number, were all dismissed.
Balvino P. Ramos, 26, of Hector was convicted on two separate charges of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type; fined $185 for each charge.
Kirstin L. Kitchel, 26, of Elmore was convicted of window tint violation-less than 50 percent light transmittance; fined $135. Also convicted of operate vehicle with illegal headlight or taillight covers (except stock); fined $40. Also convicted of front and rear license plates required; fined $30.
Kathryn O. Paton, 22, of Cornelius, N.C. had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $125, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, have no traffic offenses during the period of deferral.
