Erin K. Maier, 34, of Ceylon was convicted of uninsured vehicle-owner violation; fined $285. Also convicted of operate vehicle with expired registration; fined $30.

Belinda Gomez, 31, of Collinsville, Ala. was convicted of speeding; fined $135. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $25.

Robert C. Nix Jr., 40, of Truman had a charge of public nuisance violation continued for dismissal; one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar including no animal violations of the law. Also had a charge of dangerous dogs-failure to keep in proper enclosure or muzzled and restrained outside of enclosure continued for dismissal; one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar including no animal violations of the law.

Brian L. Sparks, 43, of Fairmont was convicted of fail to stop for a school bus; fined $235, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of driving after suspension was dismissed.

Refugio S. Torres Sr., 48, of Fairmont was convicted of obstruct lawful execution of the legal process; fined $335, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.

Alexander M. Ciramagua Umul, 44, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of identity theft-transfers/possesses/uses identity of other person; fined $200, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.

John H. Helt, 41, of Worthington was convicted of no insurance-driver violation; sentenced to jail 30 days, credit for time served 30 days. Additional charge of weaving over lane lines was dismissed.
