Coffee Hours/Coffee Lovers meetings continue

CEYLON — St. Paul’s Community Church in Welcome will celebrate its 125th anniversary with a service at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 14.

Our Savior Lutheran Church in Ceylon is preparing for a closing and decommissioning service on June 20 after 126 years of services. The service will be held at 2 p.m. on June 20 at the church, led by Pastor Russell Reimers, who has been serving as pastor there for many years. Sadly, this leaves only one active church from the four churches originally in Ceylon.

Condolences to the family of Marie Dahlke (Arthur), who passed away recently. She was involved in service clubs in Ceylon and was over 100 years old. She will be missed by family and friends.

Coffee Hours will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. each Tuesday in June at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn. Join friends and neighbors for good fellowship around a cup of coffee and treats.

The Coffee Lovers meet from 8:30 to 10 a.m. each Thursday at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill banquet room in Ceylon. All are welcome to join them for fellowship and coffee.
