Speeding — Lori A. Bettin, 57, of Sherburn; Edwin B. Waleh, 35, of Estherville, Iowa; each fined $125.

Christopher E. Flores, 23, of Grulla, Texas; fined $225.

Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Gerald M. Anderson, 50, of La Salle; fined $110.

Driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type — Perfecto M. Ramirez, 33, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Jadie L. Sharp, 61, of Fairmont was convicted of failure to deliver motor vehicle certificate to transferee within 10 days; fined $575. Additional charge of vehicle registration violation-intent to escape tax was dismissed.

Adam D. Willner, 40, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of store controlled substance paraphernalia in the presence of child or vulnerable adult; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail 83 days, credit for time served 83 days, five years supervised probation, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all recommendations of most recent chemical dependency assessment including completing initial inpatient treatment if recommended and all aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, cognitive skill training if directed by your agent, participate in individual counseling, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited, were both dismissed.

Jacqueline K. Ivey, 46, of Dunnell received a stay of adjudication on a charge of disorderly conduct-brawling or fighting; fined $100, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.

Michael J. Lofton, 34, of Mason City, Iowa, was convicted of giving peace officer false name/date of birth of another person; fined $360, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 357 days for two years, credit for time served eight days, two years unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charges of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type, vehicle lighting violation-vehicle lights to be displayed in rain, snow or sleet, and possession of small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, were all dismissed.

Alejandro P. Ramos, 37, of Fairmont was convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $110. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100.
