Muffler required — Dylan A. Larson, 18, of Lake Crystal; fined $135.

Failure to stop for traffic control signal — Brian C. Heim, 40, of Des Moines, Iowa; fined $135.

Window tint violation-less than 50 percent light transmittance — Kasey J. Koch, 20, of Preston; fined $135.

No proof of motor vehicle insurance — Amber E. Andersen, 34, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; fined $285.

Samuel N. Mendez, 29, of Fairmont was convicted of no possession of drivers license or failure to display license upon request; fined $105. Also convicted of driving wrong way on one-way street; fined $100.

Gildardo Gonzalez Jr., 28, of Fairmont was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 day, stayed 89 days for one year, credit for time served one day, one year unsupervised probation, no misdemeanor or greater violations of the law, pay costs. Additional charge of failure to stop at stop signs or stop lines at entrance to thru highway was dismissed.

Tanner L. Muller, 25, of Ceylon was convicted of possession of small amount of marijuana-no remuneration; fined $135. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited; fined $50. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $25.

Dawn P. Jarnat, 56, of Fairmont was convicted of fourth-degree driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 90 days. Additional charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.

Tina M. Schintz, 40, of Spring Lake Park received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $300, sentenced to jail five days, credit for time served five days, two years supervised probation, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, complete chemical assessment within 60 days of sentencing, follow all recommendations of evaluation, mental health evaluation within 90 days of sentencing, follow recommendations of care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use unless prescribed and monitored by a licensed medical provider, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, report to agent within 24 hours of sentencing, provide proof of any prescribed medications to supervising agent, cognitive skill training as directed by supervising agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of driving after revocation, possess or sale small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, and motor vehicle registration violation, were all dismissed.
