Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Daniel A. Nesbit, 43, of Byron; fined $110.

Underage alcohol consumption — Isaac B. Paul, 19, of Buffalo Center, Iowa; fined $185.

Toby R. Torres, 46, of Albert Lea was convicted of second-degree driving while impaired-two or more aggravating factors; fined $910, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 275 days for one year, credit for time served three days, serve as work release if eligible, two years supervised probation, sentence to service two days for indeterminate, follow recommendations of evaluation, attend MADD impact panel, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, remain law-abiding, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign all releases of information as directed, no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons.

Anthony C. Schultz, 26, of Winnebago received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana;fined $835, sentenced to jail five days, credit for time served five days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service three days for 180 days, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations of the assessment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign all releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law.

Michael R. Whitlow, 61, of Winnebago was convicted of repeatedly making obscene or harassing phone calls; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, utilize mental health providers as recommended by agent, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, remain medication compliant, no same or similar, sign probation agreement, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, report to agent as directed, advise agent prior to changing employment and/or residence, cooperate and be truthful with agent in all matters, notify agent if arrested and/or issued a summons, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, sign all releases of information as directed, no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons. Additional felony charge of terroristic threats-reckless disregard was dismissed.

Caleb A. Blekestad, 18, of Garden City was convicted of underage alcohol consumption; fined $215. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $50.
