GRANADA – Ashley Nicole Gerken and Matthew William Sauck were married July 30, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Chain. Father Schaeffer officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Pat and Pam Gerken, Brian and Linda Sauck, all of Fairmont.

Maid of honor was Shawna Garbers of Fairmont, friend of the couple. Bridesmaids were Rachael Sauck of Fairmont, sister of the groom, Katie Haeckel of Fairmont, Haylee Smith of Wichita, Kan., Emily More of Pemberton, Minn., and Taylor Shoen of Lincoln, Neb., all friends of the couple.

Flower girl was Lauren Honnette of Dunnell, cousin of the groom.

Best man was Michael Sauck of New Orleans, La., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Dylan Gerken and Derek Gerken, both of Fairmont, brothers of the bride, Mason Teachout of Granada, Carter Shumski of East Chain, and Justin More of Pemberton, friends of the couple.

Ring bearer was Aaron Sauck of Truman, cousin of the groom.

Guests were ushered by Luke Nelson of Fairmont and Tom Westphal of Pemberton, friends of the couple.

Music was provided by Phyllis Surprenant, soloist, and Jeanne Schwieger, organist.

A reception was held at the Fairmont National Guard Armory.

The couple live in rural Granada.
