FAIRMONT — Hadassah Moriah Peters and Erik Douglas Burnison were married June 3, 2023, at Great Bear Ski Valley in Sioux Falls, S.D., with Pastor Jeff Wheeler officiating the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mark Peters of Brandon, S.D., Theresa Schneider of Welcome, Minn., Doug Burnison and Cindy Upchurch-Burnison of Spearfish, S.D.

Matron of honor was Shelly Tomforde of Fairmont, Minn., best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Esther Zech of Rock Rapids, Iowa, sister of the bride, Mia Miller of Sioux Falls, sister-in-law of the bride, Mackenzie Zech, stepniece of the bride, April Nielsen of Duluth, Minn. and Ona Rawson of Big Lake, Minn., friends of the bride.

Flower girls were Elianna and Lillian Zech of Rock Rapids, Iowa, nieces of the bride.

Ring bearers were Ezra Gruba, son of the bride and Jack and Jeremiah of Rock Rapids and Sioux Falls, S.D., nephews of the bride.

Best man was Drake Burnison of Sioux Falls, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Isaiah Peters of Brandon, S.D. and Judah Petersen of Brandon, S.D., brothers of the bride, Luis Avila of San Marcos, Calif., Mason Stillman of Wilder, Vt., and Jeffery Cotter of Wichita, Kan., friends of the groom.

Junior groomsman was Dayton Draper of Fairmont, son of the bride.

Guests were ushered by Chas Zech of Rock Rapids, Iowa, brother-in-law of the bride and Kaiden Zech of Rock Rapids, stepnephew of the bride.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at Great Bear Ski Valley in Sioux Falls, S.D., where DJ “Eddy” from Wow Entertainment of Sioux Falls, provided music and other activities for the guests.

The couple resides in Fairmont.
