CREST Lunch & Learn Wednesday in Trimont

Have you ever wondered about end of life issues? Do you have a loved one or friend that is in need of hospice services? The next CREST Lunch & Learn will take place 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at First Lutheran Church, 61 Apple St. East in Trimont. This month’s program will be from Moments Hospice of Mankato. Following the program, a soup and sandwich lunch will be served. This activity is open to anyone in Martin County and a free-will donation is always welcome.

Spice of Life meeting Thursday in Fairmont

CREST’s “Spice of Life” program is where persons living with Alzheimer’s/Dementia and their caregivers come together with others and enjoy a fun time. This month’s activity will be a time of looking back at winter memories. The next Spice of Life meeting will be held beginning 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the CREST office, 820 Winnebago Ave. in Fairmont. There is no charge for this event, but RSVP’s are encouraged by calling (507) 235-3833. They hope to see you there.

Richard Donovan of Truman was named to the dean’s list for the 2022 fall semester at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, N.H.

Rebecca Hennager of Granada was named to the President’s list for the 2022 fall semester at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, N.H.

Joni Becker of Fairmont was named to the President’s honor roll for the 2022 fall semester at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D. Becker also was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology during a commencement ceremony held Dec. 16. at the university.
