Thoughts after the elections To the Editor: I assume most of you feel the same way I do about the elections. I am so glad they are over. Everything didn’t turn out the way I wanted but we must move on. Now the community needs to come together and heal wounds suffered by all those who worked so hard for their favorite issues. Most bang for the buck To the Editor: Gyms: Gyms are a great and healthy way to get out of the house year round. Yes, there are weights and machines. There are group activities like yoga and karate too. You never know who you might meet there. Competition: The City says they won’t harm the current gyms. Who will be using the gym equipment the City plans on installing. Subsidized memberships: The City has never offered either gym money to pay for underserved people in the community. Why not?
