SHERBURN — Today is the last day Sherburn City Hall accepts mayor applications. A decision will be made on Monday, March 16. Lenten Midweek services will be tonight, March 11, at area churches. All area residents are welcome to join any of these congregations. FEDA Oks request to help business expand

FAIRMONT— The Fairmont Economic Development Authority (FEDA) on Monday discussed a partial mortgage release for Fairmont Brewing Company (FBC). Council tweaks offer to city administrator candidate

FAIRMONT— The Fairmont City Council on Monday considered the employment agreement negotiations that have recently come in from interim city administrator candidate, Jason Baker. The council had sent an initial employment offer to Baker on Feb. 19. Fairmont completes Lakeville tournament LAKEVILLE — Fifteen members of the Fairmont Speech Team competed on Saturday, March 7, at the Lakeville North Speech tournament. There were over 1,000 entries at this tournament. Next-in finals: Duo: Cooper Gudahl and Leon Yang took sixth. Finals: Us Extemp: Belinda Lutterman took fifth.
