MCW Board hears plans for new school year

Park Board considers master plan

FAIRMONT – At Tuesday’s Fairmont Park Board meeting, the prospect of a parks master plan was explored and discussed. In doing Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) projects with the City Council through workshops, City Administrator Jason Baker said they have been developing a variety of master plans and citywide assessments. “One of those that I put in there that have been brought up previously was for a parks master plan for the city. Sherburn discusses sewer, water connection

SHERBURN — During the Sherburn City Council meeting on Monday, discussion of a 300-block West Cargill Street property connection to the city water and sewer continued. The owner and contractor showed videos of the camera shots taken of the over 100 feet of sewer line reached via the manhole. The conditions are not ideal with mud and non-working connections.
