CEYLON — Today is Clean Up Day in Ceylon. The City has a truck at the city shop for Ceylon residents only for free pickup of items listed in the letter sent to residents. Those who have purchased tags will get curbside pick up. Please clean up items and take them to the

shop. This is a good opportunity for free disposal of items before the ordinance charge kicks in. If any items put out for repurposing were not picked up, please take the rest to the shop.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church has services each Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. and area residents are encouraged to join them. Circle of Faith parishes, which include St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon, are asked to check for times of services as the times may change while interim Pastor Kay is conducting services. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in

Wilbert will have 9:30 a.m. services on Sunday. All area residents are welcome to join the service of their choice.

Ceylon Legion and Auxiliary would like to remind residents that there will be NO program in Ceylon for Memorial Day this year. The Legion will place flags on the graves of veterans at area cemeteries.
