During Truman Days 2020, many alumni will be coming back for an all-school reunion. And in 2024, Truman will celebrate its 125th birthday.
Before these two events, efforts are being made to spruce up Truman. Many businesses have already done great work. Thanks to the following: Chris Hiller and the corner building, the façade on City Hall, the front of the BevComm building, the cement work in front of the Truman Tribune office, two sheds behind the school and the south side of the Truman Community Building.
Many residents also have been busy.
The next meeting of this group will be 7 p.m. Sept. 5 at City Hall. This is not an exclusive group. Everyone is welcome to come and offer ideas on possible projects.
