Memorial Day event scheduled in Welcome

WELCOME — Monday is Memorial Day, a good time to remember that freedom isn’t free.

Welcome Legion, Sons of the Legion and Legion Auxiliary will hold a Memorial Day program at 9 a.m. in the old gym at the Welcome School. Because of construction, please use the north door (back door). The speaker will be Dale Harbitz. All are welcome to attend.

Tuesday coffee hours for May continue one last week from 8:30-10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome. Friends and neighbors are invited for good brew, treats and great fellowship. Thank you to those volunteers from Sherburn.
