Musical coming up Friday

TRUMAN — The students of St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Truman invite the public to their spring musical, “Good ‘Kings’ Come in Small Packages,” at 7 p.m. Friday.

Truman City Council meets 5:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall. All meetings are open to the public.

Truman Pride meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. This is a great way to show your support to the students at Truman High School by volunteering. They would appreciate your help.

If you are interested in being on the community education advisory board, please contact Courtney Studer by calling (507) 327-6917 or email her at studerc@truman.k12.mn.us. The advisory board meets three times each year to brainstorm ideas that enhance the community education program in the Truman community. Please consider getting involved.

CREST Lunch and Learn in Truman will feature “Dementia Friends,” a program designed to share information on living with dementia, how it affects people and by sharing ways to improve our skills of communication with people living with dementia. It will be held noon Wednesday in the community room at Zaharia Funeral Home, 102 E. Ciro St., in Truman. A catered lunch will be provided.

To reserve a spot, please call Zaharia’s at (507) 776-4375. Anyone in the area is invited to gather for this program.

May 10: Bike rodeo for all third-grade students at Truman Public School and St. Paul’s Lutheran School.

May 11: Truman High School prom.

May 15: Truman Schools Spring Fling.

May 18: Truman Lions Club burger bash with proceeds for the Truman Days parade.

May 24: Truman High School commencement.

May 27: Memorial Day picnic at Truman Community Building.

May 29: 55+ defensive driving class-refresher. More information will follow closer to date of event.
