2019 Relay for Life committee and team captains meeting will be 5:30 p.m. Monday at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont.

Welcome City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday. All members are urged to attend.

Mid-week Lenten services will continue Wednesday for area residents at Waverly Lutheran Church north of Welcome for the Circle of Faith Parishes. They will begin with a supper at 5:30 p.m., followed by the service at 6:30 p.m.

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome will have its 6 p.m. Bible Study on Wednesday.

Area residents are welcome to join these congregations for Lenten worship.

Welcome Summer Festival committee would like to thank all the volunteers and workers who helped with the successful fundraising Murder Mystery Dinner last weekend. Thank you to those who attended. More than 80 tickets were sold.

Condolences to the families of Richard Kling and James Shell who passed away. They will be missed.

Upcoming events include the opening of the Welcome Historical Society Museum from 2-4 p.m. Saturday.

They will be cleaning around 2 p.m. that day and would appreciate anyone willing to help.

They also are planning their annual meeting and potluck supper on April 23.

Coffee hours will begin in April from 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesdays at Trinity Lutheran Church in Trimont. Join friends and neighbors every Tuesday morning from April to October at various locations.
