The first phase of the beautification project for downtown Sherburn has been completed. It included painting store fronts. A definite improvement can be seen on many of the downtown buildings.

Future phases include new siding, benches and blinds for windows. It’s also hoped that money can be raised through future fundraisers for new awnings and signage on some of these buildings.

The city of Sherburn will purchase 12 lights to replace current lights in the downtown area.

Thanks to the Sherburn Civic and Commerce for the work it has already done and will continue to do.
