After-school science classes coming soon

TRUMAN — Truman High School spring play “Hollywood Hillbillies” will be performed 7 p.m. tonight and on Friday evening.

The play is set in the hills of Alabama. Cousin Chicory, who left for the city years ago, has directed his sophisticated wife and daughter to stop in and meet his family for the first time. You’ll love the hilarity that ensues.

Lewisville Library will show how to make homemade window clings 4:30 p.m. Friday. You’ll learn how to make window clings at home. This event is free for those who attend.

Truman Public School and St. Paul’s Lutheran School will dismiss one hour early Friday.

Mrs. Kutch will once again hold an after-school science class about acids and bases. The class will be 3:15-4 p.m. in room 203. The class for students in grades 1-3 will be March 13 while the class for students in grades 4-6 will be March 20.

Please let Mrs. Kutch know if your child will be attending by sending an email to kutchm@ truman.k12.mn.us by the Friday prior to the class so there will be enough supplies for the classes.

Truman Lions Club breakfast date has been changed and will now be held 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 18. Come to the Truman Community Building to enjoy Nancy Jo’s egg bake, cinnamon rolls, banana and orange juice. Profits will be donated to Truman Public School.
