Kids can send cards to friends

TRUMAN — Truman City Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall. All council meetings are open to the public.

Truman Pride meets 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Truman High School Learning Center.

Recycling day is Wednesday. Place your container curbside with the wheels facing your house by 7 a.m.

Please break down all cardboard boxes and rinse containers.

Children in grades K-6 can take part in National “Send a Card to a Friend Day” from 4:15-5:15 p.m. Wednesday. Register by Sunday at studerc@truman. k12.mn.us or call (507) 327-6917.

There is no cost and all supplies are provided.

Now is an excellent time to send our friends a card and let them know we are thinking of them. What a nice surprise it would be to receive a card from a friend.

Join Nikki at a come-and-go “Spa-Inspired Essential Oils” make-and-take class between 6-8 p.m. Feb. 9. The class will be held in the Truman High School home economics room at a cost of $10 for two items.
