Houston Wheeler, 29, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $100, sentenced to jail 30 days, credit for time served five days, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, report to agent within 24 hours of sentencing to the Fairmont Felony office and provide updated contact information, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations for care and aftercare, complete diagnostic assessment and follow recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, maintain employment, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited was dismissed.

Joey L. Krull, 40, of Worthington was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of window tint violation-less than 50 percent light transmittance; fined $50.

Cameron R. O’Connor, 23, of Faribault was convicted of harassment-knowingly violates temporary or restraining order; fined $460, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, sentence to service one day for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, follow any further recommendations from chemical dependency inpatient program, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, no contact with victim or family, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed.
