Ahmed A. Egal, 42, of Minneapolis had a charge of unsafe lane usage on laned highway continued for dismissal; fined $135, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no traffic-related charges during deferral time.
Bryan C. Thompson, 44, of Frankfort, Ill. had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $200, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.
Vicki L. Weig, 57, of Fairmont was convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol; fined $910, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 360 days for two years, credit for time served five days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, attend MADD impact panel, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, remain law-abiding, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours was dismissed.
Gilberto Amaro Jr., 22, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of threats of violence-reckless disregard risk; fined $1,185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 18 months, stayed three years, sentenced to jail 58 days, credit for time served 58 days, three years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete chemical assessment within 30 days, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, cognitive skill training as directed by supervising agent, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, obtain employment, maintain employment, no direct or indirect contact with victim(s), refrain from the use of any form of violence including either violent behavior or threats of violence, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charges of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were both dismissed.

Lamont, 34, of Fairmont was convicted of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $485, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 86 days for one year, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, no same or similar, complete chemical assessment, complete diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, remain law-abiding, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of domestic abuse-violate No Contact Order was dismissed.
William N. Beavers, 58, of Dunnell was convicted of fifth-degree assault-fear of bodily harm or death; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 86 days for one year, credit for time served four days, one year unsupervised probation, no contact with victim(s), may be accompanied by law enforcement to gather personal belongings from property, no same or similar.
Rudy Mata Jr., 23, of Fairmont was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $685, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, attend MADD impact panel, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no same or similar. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and possess/sale small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, were all dismissed.
