Wireless communications device-initiate/compose/send/retrieve/read electronic message — Alden Edward C. Pohl, 24, of Truman; Wayne M. Huigens, 39, of Fairmont; each fined $135.

No front plate for foreign state if state required it — Abigail P. Barth, 41, of Fitchburg, Wis.; fined $185.

Benjamin C. Johnson, 21, of Granada received an amended court decision on a charge of third-degree driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; jail credit since time of arrest on 11-5-21, defendant to be transported by the New Life treatment program or the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, reinstate on supervised probation under all previously ordered conditions, defendant should enter and successfully complete the New Life inpatient treatment program and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare. Also received an amended court decision on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a child or status as a petty offender; jail credit since time of arrest on 11-5-21, defendant to be transported by the New Life treatment program or the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, reinstate on supervised probation under all previously ordered conditions, defendant should enter and successfully complete the New Life inpatient treatment program and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare.

Paul E. Diaz, 65, of Winnebago was convicted of speeding; fined $145. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.

Macklin S. McKinney, 22, of Saint Francis was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of front and rear license plates required; fined $30.

Gilberto Amaro Jr., 22, of Blue Earth was convicted of fourth-degree damage to property-intentional damage-other circumstances; fined $505, restitution $420, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution, remain law-abiding.

Ryan P. Donnelly, 37, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of junk-other than weeds and grass; six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, property is to cleaned up before the end of 2021.

Earic Johnson, 57, of Fairmont was convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol; fined $185, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served six days, remaining 24 days can be served on EHM with alco-sensor, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, remain law-abiding, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charges of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours, and failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle, were both dismissed.
