Timothy H. Schultz, 58, of Fairmont was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $885, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years supervised probation, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, cognitive skill training if requested by probation, contact probation officer as directed, no same or similar, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Michael A. Livingston, 34, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $685, sentenced to jail 10 days, credit for time served 10 days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, cognitive skill training if requested by probation, contact probation officer as directed, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited was dismissed.

Malachi D. Smith, 40, of Sherburn received an amended court decision on a charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $400, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar. Also received an amended court decision on a charge of open bottle law-possession; fined $400, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar. Additional charges of motor vehicle registration-intent to escape tax, motor vehicle registration-unregistered and certain acts forbidden, motor vehicle registration-display plates of another, giving false information to officer or court regarding vehicle insurance, and unlicensed/inoperable vehicles, were all dismissed.

Mylisha L. Turner, 20, of Jackson was convicted of speeding; fined $145, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days. Also convicted of instruction permit violations-persons 18 years or older (requirements); fined $145, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days.

Anthony Lopez Esquivel, 23, of Claremont was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $200. Also convicted of speeding; fined $125.
