Josie Ana E. Duscheck, 35, of St. James received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $793, restitution $208, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, pay restitution, remain law-abiding, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing. Also convicted of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance; sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, remain law-abiding, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing. Also convicted of driving after revocation; fined $50. Additional charges of driving after revocation and possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited, were both dismissed.

Roger E. Quast, 50, of Stillwater was convicted of expired registration; fined $115. Also convicted of no Minnesota registration; fined $100.

Oscar R. Arellano, 45, of (homeless) was convicted on a felony charge of predatory offender-knowingly commits act or fails to fulfill registration requirement; fined $160, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 15 months, give a DNA sample when directed, fees can be taken from prison earnings. Three separate felony charges of predatory offender-knowingly commits act or fails to fulfill registration requirement were all dismissed.

Christopher A. Fausch, 22, of Red Wing was convicted of trespass-occupy or enter locked dwelling/posted building; sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 58 days for one year, credit for time served 32 days, one year unsupervised probation, don’t enter victim’s residence, no same or similar. Also convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-one aggravating factor; fined $810, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 333 days for two years, credit for time served 32 days, two years supervised probation, attend MADD impact panel, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all recommendations from chemical dependency assessment, follow all recommendations of current treatment program, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

James Chieto Rivera, 33, of Blue Earth was convicted of failure of driver to stop for a stop sign; fined $135. Also convicted of speeding; fined $60.

Roy L. Stanley, 74, of Ceylon had a charge of failure to drive with due care continued for dismissal; one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no moving traffic violations, no same or similar traffic offenses.
