Underage alcohol consumption — Angel Anna L. Thate, 19, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Driving without a valid driver’s license for vehicle class or type — Fredy A. Velasquez, 22, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Merlyn M. Maldonado, 34, of Estherville, Iowa, was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $200. Also convicted of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type; fined $185.

Richard R. Rochefort Jr., 60, of Fairmont was convicted of giving peace officer false name/birthdate/ID card; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.

James R. Hatch, 72, of Trimont was convicted on two separate charges of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $110 for each charge.

David M. Way, 46, of Glenview, Ill., was convicted of carry or possess pistol in a public place without permit; fined $285, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charges of no motor vehicle registration, and driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type, were both dismissed.
