Torgerson, 25, of Blue Earth received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $835, sentenced to jail five days, credit for time served five days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service 16 hours for indeterminate, follow all recommendations of current chemical dependency assessment, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, complete a “Cost Benefit Analysis” regarding continued illegal use of marijuana versus abstinence as directed by agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.

Shaun P. Tungland, 42, of Blue Earth was convicted on a felony charge of domestic assault; fined $1,085, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 24 months, stayed two years, sentenced to jail 45 days, credit for time served 45 days, two years supervised probation, complete domestic abuse program as directed by agent, no mood-altering chemicals, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charge of interrupt, interfere, impede or disrupt emergency telephone calls or communications was dismissed.
