United Methodist plans Sunday pancake brunch Fairmont United Methodist church invites the community to a free pancake brunch from 10-11:30 a.m. (or until the food is gone) on Palm Sunday, March 24, at the church located at 119 E. 2nd St. (corner of Park St. and 2nd St.) in Fairmont. Serving will be in the Fellowship Hall (lower level of the church). The brunch will consist of pancakes, butter and syrup, breakfast sausage, caramel rolls, coffee, milk and orange juice. First, join library staff for Classic Movie Monday beginning 1 p.m. Monday, March 18, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. Martin Luther to hold Sunday lunch event A soup and sandwich lunch will be held 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at Martin Luther Jr/Sr High School in Northrop. They will be serving chicken noodle soup, cheesy potato soup, chicken griller soup, vegetable beef soup and chili, egg salad and cheese spread will be served on crimp bread from Kiehl's Bakery in Lakefield, cupcakes, bars and Greg's Homemade ice cream.
