Summer events for kids at Martin County libraries

Branch storytimes will be held 3 p.m. Wednesdays at the Trimont Library, 3 p.m. Wednesdays at the Truman Library and 3:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Sherburn Library. Storytimes will be held weekly through the end of July. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required. Next, Join Becky for Boredom Busters at 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays through the end of July at the Sherburn Library. Also Mini Monday for children, newborn to age 5 with an adult, will be held 10 a.m. Mondays, July 8, 15 and 22 at the Fairmont Library. Trimont Sundaes in the Park Sunday

The next Trimont Sundaes in the Park for the 2024 season is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Triumph Memorial Park in Trimont. Entertainment will feature the Kittleson Family Singers. Bring your lawn chair and treat yourself to an awesome ice cream sundae. Donations are appreciated for the sundaes. The concert is free. Everyone is invited.

Graciela Figueroa of Fairmont was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science following the 2023 fall semester at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in River Falls, Wis.
