Sherburn church plans Sunday buffet

The women’s fellowship of First Congregational Church in Sherburn will sponsor a three-meat buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at the church located at 212 N. Prairie St. in Sherburn. They will serve Swedish meatballs, turkey and ham. A donation of $10 is suggested. The church is handicapped-accessible. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Martin Luther sets rummage/bake sale next week

The spring rummage and bake sale will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 30, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 31, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 1, at Martin Luther Jr/Sr High School in Northrop. Set up will begin on Saturday, March 25. Volunteer workers are most welcome to set up, operate the sale and help with take down. Donations of spring and summer clothing (in good condition), household items, and furniture will be accepted Saturday, March 25 to Tuesday, March 28. Your help is essential to their success.
