Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured this week will be Bob Charnecki from Options Pregnancy Center. The public is invited.

United Methodist plans Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will have an in-person Wednesday evening supper from 5-6 p.m. (or until all the food is gone) Wednesday, Nov. 16, at their church located at 119 E. 2nd St., Fairmont. Meals will be served the third Wednesday of the month in the fellowship hall on the church’s lower level. Drive-up meals will not be available. The menu will consist of cheesy chicken noodle casserole, corn, breadstick, and donated desserts. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, jello or fruit, and beverages are available at all meals. Free will donations are gratefully accepted. Everyone is welcome.

Immanuel Lutheran plans chili dinner Friday

Immanuel Lutheran Church’s men’s club and youth groups will host a chili and oyster stew dinner from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in the basement of the church, 1200 N. North Ave., Fairmont. Join them before or after the Glows Parade. They will serve chili, oyster stew, crackers, carrot sticks, breadsticks, assorted bars, hot chocolate, coffee and milk. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children, ages 6-12, while kids, 5 and under, are free. Take-outs are available. Proceeds will help support church ministries. Everyone is welcome to attend.
