Service Club to hold meeting Tuesday

Fairmont Service Club will meet noon Tuesday at the Best Western Hotel in Fairmont. The program this week will feature Troy Nemmers, Director of Public Works/City Engineer. Historical Society offers program

A PowerPoint presentation entitled “The Story of Interlaken Park” will be shown 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at the Pioneer Museum in Fairmont. There is no charge. The public is invited to attend.

Fairmont City Band to hold concert

Fairmont City Band will perform their third summer concert 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at the Sylvania Park band shell in Fairmont. The band will perform marches, show tunes and standard concert band literature. Intermission entertainment will be provided by Parker Haug. IHD committee will operate the concession stand, with proceeds going toward Interlaken Heritage Days activities. Band rehearsal will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday at the band shell. City Band is always looking for new members. Those who have completed 10th grade may consider joining.
