Garden Club sets Wednesday meeting

City of Lakes Garden Club of Fairmont will meet 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lincoln Park in Fairmont. Please gather by the open shelter. They will be practicing social distancing, so please bring a lawn chair and it’s recommended to wear a face covering to protect each other. Attendees are asked to bring your own lunch and beverage. A dessert will be provided. There will be a business meeting followed by a presentation on “Methods of Gardening/Visitors to the Garden-How to Have a National Wildlife Certified Yard.” If you are interested in becoming a member or would like more information about the Garden Club, please call or text Leslie Walkowiak at (651) 895-6578.

Bridal shower this Saturday in Truman

A drive by, walk by, or stop by bridal shower for Miranda Belgard, daughter of Elliot and Connie Belgard, and bride-to-be of Chris Tulowetzke, son of James and Angie Tulowetske, will be held 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday at Graf Park in Truman. All friends and family are invited.
