Ruby’s Pantry plans food distribution

Ruby’s Pop-Up Pantry, a community food outreach program, will hold a food distribution Monday at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn. Registration begins at 5 p.m., with food distribution from 6-7:30 p.m. There are no income or residency guidelines. Ruby’s Pantry is funded by a $20 cash donation per participant for operational costs. Participants are asked to bring two large boxes, totes or laundry baskets for the food. CER announces basketball meeting

Community Education and Recreation will host an adult community basketball league informational meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the cafeteria at Fairmont Elementary School. This is a five-on-five league Monday evenings, beginning Jan. 6 and running through April. The team fee is $180. Deadline to register at CER is Dec. 20. GHEC students to hold fundraiser

The junior and senior classes at Granada-Huntley-East Chain will conduct a class trip fundraiser Thursday during the boys basketball game against Mankato Loyola in Granada. They will hold a taco feed meal from 5-8 p.m. Proceeds will be used for their class trip in March 2020 to Washington, D.C., and New York. Everyone is invited.
